Nirmala Sitharaman's daughter married in simple home ceremony
New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman married her daughter at home today, setting the trend for large destination weddings defied.
It was a simple ceremony with family and friends from Bangalore. No political heavyweights were present.
The marriage of Mrs. Sitharaman's daughter Parakala Vangamai and Pratik was solemnly celebrated according to Brahmin tradition, with the seers of Udupi Adamar Mutt blessing the bride and groom.
The bride wore a pink saree for the special occasion and paired it with a green blouse. The groom wore a white pancha and shawl.
