If there is limited supply in the areas you want to buy, you need other investment vehicles to put your money into. For some it's investing outside of your area, which is what I do, and for some it's paying off your loans, which I also do. If you want to buy more but can't find deals, definitely focus on paying off your loans. This is much better than leaving your money in the bank doing nothing.
